Details on EA’s newest addition to the Dead Space series are starting to emerge. For starters, Dead Space 3 is going to officially drop on February 5, 2013. If all the talk about co-op in Dead Space 3 hasn’t killed your hard-on for the upcoming title, hopefully some of these details will help perk your interest. The limited edition which will include first access to two different game bundles.
First Contact Bundle
- First Contact Suit: A unique suit to say the least. The press release states that it “sports a flamboyant golden finish to provide protection from long-term space exposure and thick armor for…unspecified reasons“.
- Negotiator Weapon: Seems like a pretty badass weapon. It is a gold-plated gun with a “top-mounted Tesla Beam capable of bursting a man-sized organism into several pieces with a single shot“, while the bottom part of the linegun is meant for dismembering your foes from a distance.
Witness The Truth Bundle
- Witness Suit: Some mysterious armor to say the least. The press release states “These insulated suits were worn by a SCAF deep dig team assigned to exhume the darkest secrets of Tau Volantis. Whatever they found locked deep in the ice changed them forever. When they emerged weeks later, they were covered head to toe in strange graffiti and claimed to be Witnesses to the Truth.”
- Evangelizer Weapon: An assault rifle on top with a tactical “Big Boy” shotgun on the bottom.
