Double Helix and Activision have announced that they’re making a video game adaptation of the new action movie Battleship.  The game intends to integrate aspects of the board game with new FPS features.  It’ll be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.  They’ll also have versions for the Wii, DS and the 3DS.

Well the movie, despite have Rhianna in it and Master Chief aliens, looks like it could be decent.  It’s a movie based off a board game with aliens?  Now we’ll have a video game about that movie about the board game with aliens.  In all seriousness if they combine some RTS elements with good FPS elements it could be pretty cool!
