Yes the title of this post does not deceive you. The highly anticipated mod Black Mesa Source has been released, and it’s looking amazing! The mod is basically a complete rebuild of Half-Life utilizing the source engine to its fullest potential in terms of detail. Everything was built from the ground up and was not just a port of the maps and models to source.

It really does look spectacular and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! You don’t need Half-Life Source to play. All you need is a copy of any Source Engine game on your PC installed from Steam, and you’re good to go.
