Well now we know fo sho there’s going to be a Mass Effect movie and we’ll get to hear a bit about the direction of said movie at this years San Diego Comic-Con.  Legendary Pictures recently announced they’re going to host a panel with the games creator, Casey Hudson, and the screenwriter picked for the movie, Mark Protosevich.  Mark was the writer of the Cell, I Am Legend and Thor…. so he’s been involved in some pretty cool projects.

Alls I know is I’m really excited about this movie… and I think plenty of others are too.  Hopefully they keep it a real serious, action heavy, sci-fi movie.  It’ll be good if they can really let the story shine through, and show the tough choices Shepard has to make, and the weight of those choices.  Of course, we all know video game movies have a pretty bad history.  I feel like with Mass Effect, it has more than enough story to be done right.  Lets hope it is!
