Sure it may have been a couple years since you played a Virtua Fighter game, but with the creation of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Sega is giving you all kinds of reasons to check out the latest installment in their iconic fighting franchise. Unbeknownst to many gamers in the States, Virtua Fighter 5 has continued growing and evolving in the Japanese arcades.. And with Final Showdown, Sega has put that all together with a pretty bow for the International audience.

At PAX we actually had a chance to talk to Frank from the VF5:FS team about the game, and he revealed some really cool tidbits about it including new characters, completely reworked animations, and wall mechanics that just don’t exist in other fighting games.
