The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is going to be hitting the PlayStation Vita in less than a month.  Konami recently unveiled the launch date which is going to be June 12, 2012.  The HD Collection includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.  The game will have updated graphics and it’ll have cross-save compatibility so you can transfer your save from the PlayStation 3 Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to your Vita, and vice versa, and play it on the go!

I was just talking earlier about how awesome cross-save compatibility is, and I’m happy see it coming out in more games.  I’m a little bummed that this version won’t include Peacewalker, which is in the console versions HD Collections, but I guess that’s just the way it’s gotta be sometimes.
