Well it looks like the Nintendo money print is drying up and bad news is on the way for the company.  Apparently Nintendo is expecting to announce it’s earnings tomorrow for the first half of the fiscal year, and those earnings are a loss of $1.32 billion.  Roughly $600 million more than they expected…  They’ve also been greatly changing, aka dropping, their estimated profits by years end.  Currently they estimate a $461M profit by March, but that number was much higher not long ago.
Basically, as tough as it is to believe with all the Wii’s sold, times are tough for Nintendo. Â The 3DS hasn’t been doing nearly as well as they expected, and I’m pretty sure they’re putting a lot of their eggs in the Wii-U basket… which isn’t looking like a tightly woven basket to be putting those eggs in!
