Well it might not be Snake, but it’s something.  GameSpot just showed us that PlayStation’s All-Star Battle Royale will be getting Raiden from the Metal Gear series.  The character specializes in one-on-one attacks, has some ridiculous air combos, and can trap all his opponents under boxes by using his level three ultimate.  He looks like he’s going to be a hella quick character with a mean ability to slice and dice.

I think pretty much everyone would rather have Snake.  I’m sure that’s been a given ever since the reception Konami got from Metal Gear 2.  Still, I guess something from the franchise is better than nothing!  Personally I wish they had revolver Ocelot… I guess I’ll wait for Super PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Brawl.
