It looks like the PlayStation Store will be getting another makeover, but this time it will look completely different than past iterations. The new look of the Store will hit Europe first on October 17th and will be coming to the US a week later on the 23rd. Along with the new look, the store will sport a new search engine, in-depth descriptions and much, much more.

Sony gave a brief description about the new look and feel of the PS Store:

Aside from the totally re-imagined user interface with brilliant visuals and branded destinations that showcase content, the new PlayStation Store also adds predictive search, improving filtering to make search easier and faster.  It also offers more in-depth information about purchases, demos and free trials, as well as movies, TV shows, games and apps, letting users browse and discover new types of content.

There were rumors of a huge redesign for the Store earlier this year but this was alot more than I expected. Now, about that boring XMB menu…
