Skyrim has had a bug in their PS3 version since release.  The game stutters and “lags” because of memory issues when the save file grows in size.  The longer you play the game, the bigger your save file grows and the more issues you being experiencing because the console’s being weighed down.  Well, good news for PS3 owners.  They’re addressing the bug in their 1.4 update!  The patch will be availble sometime this month.  We don’t have any specifics yet on the release date, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we know!

I’m sure this problem has been a priority for Bethesda Softworks for a long time.  People invest a lot of time in to this game and the stuttering makes late game play painful!  What I do know is there’s no way this is an easy fix.  Hopefully they’ve figured it out all and have it working completely with this patch!
