If you picked up a copy of Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier you may have been disappointed as you may have thought that there was split-screen co-op campaign (as implied by many sources including the company’s own “UbiShop”) but then found out that there was none. Turns out you may have been trolled by Ubisoft:

We’ve been made aware of the presence of outdated information on UbiShop and several retailer sites stating split screen, cooperative play is available in Ghost Recon Future Soldier’s campaign. We have ensured the information has been updated on the sites affected by this.”

“Our customers are extremely important to us, and we hope you’ll accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience and frustration caused by this miscommunication.”

Thankfully there’s still split screen for “Guerrilla Mode” but yeah, that’s about it. So if you were hoping to do those awesome sync shots with a friend… Better hope your friend is a bot.
